I am a third year MA student at the University of Arizona. I study in the School of Middle Eastern & North African Studies and School of Information Resources & Library Science. I am interested in US policy in regulating the digital sphere (blogs, YouTube, proliferation of independent news outlets, email, mobile connections, facebook, twitter, etc) as it unfolds after the attacks of September 11.
My short term goals include to become a Middle Eastern cataloger at a research institution.
This blog is a journal of my research interest – developing technologies in librarianship, data mining, and US policy regulating cyberspace post 9-11.
